My journey into filmmaking began with a deep love for storytelling. As a writer, I always felt the need to translate my words into visual narratives. This journey was sparked when I read a script that captivated me in a way that words alone couldn’t. It was a moment of realization: I wanted to write films. That moment led me to explore the world of cinema, diving into screenwriting and filmmaking with passion and dedication.
From a young age, I was drawn to films—my first taste of cinema was at the age of 10, watching Khoon Bhari Maang on a VCR in a small Airforce base in Iraq. That film ignited a love for the visual medium, and from there, my journey into filmmaking began. The process of writing screenplays, followed by learning the craft through workshops and courses, was a labor of love.
With guidance from experienced professionals and workshops at renowned institutions like the Whistling Woods International Film School and SAE Dubai, I honed my skills as a screenwriter and filmmaker. My passion for storytelling came to life in the form of two short films that blend personal experiences with cinematic vision.
